PM2.5 refers to atmospheric particulate matter (PM) that have a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers. PM2.5 filters are 5 layered filters with an activated carbon filter that protect from allergens, PM2.5, dust, pollen, fur, chemical hazards, and sprays.
It is recommended to wash cotton masks after every use and to replace filters every 1-3 days of heavy use, 1-2 weeks of occasional use, or whenever it becomes increasingly difficult to draw a breath.
